The New Orleans Pendant Lantern brings a traditional coach lantern look to porches, covered patios and garden pergolas. Its hexagonal glass panels catch and diffuse the light in every direction, while the black and gold finish gives it the look of a well established period fitting rather than something fresh off a factory line.

This version pairs a black and gold painted satin finish over an aluminium frame with clear bevelled glass panels. The two tone finish is worked into the detailing on the crown and drop finial, so the contrast shows even when the light isn't on. It hangs from a matching chain rather than a rigid rod, which lets it settle naturally under a sloped porch roof or pergola beam.

• Takes one E27 bulb, not supplied; around 6W LED (60W incandescent equivalent) gives a similar output to the original halogen fitting
