An Open Cube for the Ceiling

The Heaton 2 Light Flush takes the same open box design as the rest of the Heaton range and turns it into a ceiling fitting. Two bulbs sit exposed inside a square cage that sits close to the ceiling, giving an industrial look with minimal drop, useful anywhere a pendant would hang too low.

Brushed Gold and Silver, With an Aged Edge

Like the rest of the Heaton range, this fitting carries a brushed silver finish with warm gold undertones showing through the metal, giving it a slightly weathered look rather than a flat, single tone finish. It suits industrial, rustic and transitional schemes equally well.

How It Works

• Iron open cube frame flush ceiling light with two exposed lamp holders.
• Takes 2 x E27 bulbs, sold separately. A bulb of around 6W LED (60W incandescent equivalent) is the closest modern match to the fitting's original rating, and a vintage style filament bulb suits the open cage well.
• Dimmable, provided dimmable LED bulbs are fitted and paired with a compatible dimmer switch.
• Fits close to the ceiling, so it works in rooms with limited height where a pendant isn't practical.
• Wired to Class I (earthed).

Where It Works Best

At 30cm wide, deep and high, the Heaton flush light works well in a hallway, landing, kitchen or bedroom where ceiling height is limited, or anywhere a low profile fitting is preferred over a hanging pendant. Because both bulbs are left exposed inside the open frame, it gives a warmer, more direct light than a fully enclosed flush fitting.
