Two Heights of Light From One Base

The Gaskell LED Mother and Child Floor Lamp gives you two different heights of light from a single floor standing fitting. A tall, curved father light and a lower, rounded child light share the same base, so you can light a whole seating area or use just one head as an accent, all finished in a warm satin brass and black combination.

Materials and Finish

The frame is built from mild steel and aluminium, with plastic and acrylic used in the two light heads. The pole and base are finished in black, with satin brass detailing at the join and around the base, adding a warm metallic contrast against the darker metalwork.

How It Works

Both lights use an integrated LED source that isn't replaceable, producing a combined 2600 lumens at a warm 3000K colour temperature. The taller light has a memory dimmer, so you can set your preferred brightness and it will return to that level next time you switch it on, though the lower light isn't dimmable. As a Class III fixture, it runs on safety extra low voltage, so there's no earthing needed. It simply plugs into a standard socket.

Can both lights be dimmed?
No. Only the taller light has a memory dimmer, so you can set your preferred brightness and it will return to that level next time you turn it on. The lower light runs at a fixed brightness.

Can I change the bulb if it stops working?
No. The Gaskell uses an integrated LED chip in both light heads rather than a replaceable bulb, and this is covered by Searchlight's 5 year warranty.
