A Compact Pendant With a Softly Glowing Centre
The Fir is a compact LED ceiling pendant in matt black, its smoked glass dome wrapped around a slim illuminated column that glows warm and even once switched on.
Materials and Finish
Made from mild steel and glass, finished in matt black with a smoked glass shade that gives the light a subtle, tinted look rather than a fully see through one.
How It Works
It uses an integrated LED (not replaceable), giving a soft 409 lumens at a warm 2700K colour temperature. It's dimmable via a 3 stage touch control, and the flex allows the drop height to be adjusted to suit your ceiling. It is a Class II double insulated fixture, so it does not need an earthed connection. We always recommend having it installed by a registered NICEIC electrician.
Where It Works Best
Its compact 30cm shade suits a single drop above a kitchen table, breakfast bar or small dining setting, and it also works well repeated in a row over a kitchen island.

Is the bulb in the Fir pendant replaceable?
No. The Fir uses an integrated LED that isn't designed to be replaced, so the fitting is supplied ready to install with its light source built in.
Can I adjust how low the Fir hangs?
Yes. The suspension flex allows the drop height to be adjusted up to a maximum of 120cm, so it can be set to suit a range of ceiling heights.
Is the Fir dimmable?
Yes, it's dimmable using the built in 3 stage touch control, giving you a choice of brightness levels without needing a separate dimmer switch.
Can I use the Fir in a bathroom?
It's rated IP20, which means it's designed for dry indoor rooms only and isn't suitable for bathrooms or other humid spaces.
