A Linear Silhouette Finished in Cascading Gold Fringe

The Finlay 4 Light Ceiling Pendant pairs a long rectangular shade in black with a cascade of fine gold chain fringe along its lower edge, giving what would otherwise be a simple linear pendant a distinctly glamorous, Art Deco inspired edge.

Materials and Finish

The shade is built from mild steel with fabric and plastic detailing, finished in black, with the gold chain fringe adding warmth and movement along the base where the light spills out.

How It Works

Inside the shade sit four E27 bulbs (not included). Searchlight's own specification for this fixture lists 40W as the reference incandescent rating, so we would suggest a 4W LED bulb (roughly the equivalent of an old 40W bulb) for each of the four positions. The pendant is dimmable when fitted with dimmable bulbs, and the two suspension cables can be adjusted at installation between 49cm and 150cm. This is a Class II, double insulated fixture, though as a hardwired ceiling light, installation by a registered NICEIC electrician is still recommended.

Where It Works Best

At 80cm long, this linear pendant is particularly well suited to kitchen islands and rectangular dining tables, where its length can run parallel to the surface below, though it also works as a striking single fitting in a living room.
