A Pendant That Paints the Room in Light and Shadow
The Searchlight Fernie is a ceiling pendant with an intricately laser cut metal shade in a nickel finish. Once the bulb is lit, the cut out pattern casts a decorative spread of light and shadow across the ceiling and walls as well as down into the room below.
Materials and Finish
The shade is pressed metal, finished in a silver grey nickel tone, with a dense scrolling pattern cut all the way through so light can escape from every side.
How It Works
It takes a single 60W E27 bulb, not included, and can be dimmed if you fit dimmable bulbs. The drop height is adjustable, so it can be set to suit your ceiling. This is a Class I fixture, which means it needs to be earthed. We always recommend having a ceiling pendant like this installed by a qualified electrician.
Where It Works Best
Its decorative light pattern makes the Fernie a good fit for a living room, bedroom, dining room, hallway or stairwell, anywhere the play of light and shadow on the walls and ceiling can be enjoyed.
