A Cascading Spiral of Twelve Smoked Glass Pendants
The Searchlight Chapman is a large 12 light ceiling pendant in chrome with smoked glass shades, its lights arranged in a spiralling cascade down a single round ceiling plate measuring 52cm across, with a drop of up to 200cm. It is designed as a bold statement fixture for a space with real height to fill.
Materials and Finish
The ceiling plate and fittings are mild steel finished in chrome, paired with ribbed smoked glass shades and acrylic detailing around each light source.
How It Works
Each shade houses an integrated LED that isn't replaceable, with the fitting putting out a combined 1705 lumens at a warm 3000K colour temperature, and dimmable with a leading or trailing edge dimmer. The drop height of each pendant is adjustable to suit your ceiling and the space below it. As a Class I fixture it needs to be earthed and installed by a qualified electrician, and given its weight, your installer should confirm the ceiling fixing point can take the load before it goes up.
Where It Works Best
Its scale and long drop make the Chapman a good fit for a dining room with a high ceiling, a tall hallway or an open stairwell where it can be seen cascading from more than one level.
