An Uplight With Real Presence

The Capri Outdoor Uplight throws its light upward through bevelled glass panels, so it lights the wall and eaves above it rather than the ground below. It's built for exterior walls that need a fitting with some weight and detail to it, not a plain box light.

Rustic Brown and Bevelled Glass

This version comes in a rustic brown painted finish over cast aluminium, paired with clear bevelled glass. The domed top and ribbed detailing give it a traditional coach lantern look that suits brick, render and stone walls equally well.

How It Works

• Takes one E27 bulb, not supplied; around 6W LED (60W incandescent equivalent) gives a similar output to the original halogen fitting
• Not compatible with dimmer switches
• Fixed wall bracket mount, light shines upward through the glass
• Class I fitting, so it must be wired to earth
• IP44 rated and fully splashproof against the elements

Where It Works Best

Mount it either side of a front door, along a porch wall or anywhere on an exterior wall where you want an upward wash of light with some traditional detailing. Its rustic brown finish works especially well against brick or stone.

This is the uplight version of the Capri, so it throws its light upward through the glass panels rather than down.

Yes, it's IP44 rated and fully splashproof, so it can be wall mounted outside without additional shelter.

Does it come with a bulb?
No, it takes a single E27 bulb, not supplied. An LED bulb of around 6W (60W incandescent equivalent) gives a similar brightness to the original halogen fitting.
