The Searchlight Bartlett Outdoor Wall Light is a classic lantern style fixture, its silk black finish and glass panelling giving it a look that suits traditional and modern house exteriors alike.
Materials and Finish
The body is cast in aluminium and finished in silk black, glazed with clear glass panels on every side.
How It Works
It takes a single E27 bulb (not included) and is not dimmable. As a Class I fitting it needs to be earthed, so installation by a qualified electrician is recommended.

Will the silk black finish fade or mark over time outdoors?
The aluminium body is finished to withstand outdoor conditions, though as with any exterior light kept in direct weather, a wipe down now and then will keep it looking its best.
How far does the Bartlett project from the wall?
It projects around 25cm from the wall, so allow enough clearance around doorways and pathways where people might walk close to it.
Can I use this light in an exposed, rain facing position?
It is rated IP44, which is designed for splashing water rather than direct driving rain, so it is best fitted somewhere with a degree of shelter, such as under a porch roof or overhang.
Is a specific bulb shape needed for the Bartlett?
It takes a standard E27 bulb, so most household bulb shapes with an E27 cap will fit, giving some flexibility over the beam and look inside the lantern.
