A Sculptural Take on the Classic Chandelier
The Ascona 8 light pendant is the larger sibling in the Ascona range, with eight curved arms sweeping out from a tall central column in a full, rounded shape. It has the presence of a traditional chandelier but a cleaner, more architectural line, making it a strong centrepiece over a dining table or in a double height hallway.
Satin Brass Finish
Finished in a warm satin brass with a soft, low sheen, the Ascona 8 light pendant catches the light gently rather than gleaming. Each of the eight candle style lamp holders rests on a small faceted crystal glass disc, adding a subtle glint at each arm. The brass tone works well against darker wall colours, panelling or exposed brick, as well as in lighter, more traditional rooms.
How It Works
- Takes 8 x candle bulbs, around 6W LED (60W incandescent equivalent) each, E14 fitting (bulbs not supplied)
- Dimmable when used with compatible LED bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch
- Height adjustable at the point of installation, hanging from a chain up to 145cm, with an arm span of 75cm
- Supplied with a ceiling rose and chain for ceiling mounting
- Should be installed by a qualified electrician
Where It Works Best
With its wider 75cm span, the Ascona 8 light pendant is best suited to larger dining rooms, open plan kitchen diners, or hallways and stairwells with room to appreciate its full shape. It also makes a good option for a double height living room where a single pendant needs to fill more visual space.

How low does the Ascona 8 light pendant hang?
The chain allows it to be set at installation up to a maximum drop of around 145cm, so it can be adjusted to suit your ceiling height.
How many bulbs does it need and are they included?
It takes 8 candle shaped E14 bulbs, ideally around 6W LED as a 60W incandescent equivalent. Bulbs are not included.
Is this pendant dimmable?
Yes, provided you fit dimmable LED bulbs and use it with a compatible dimmer switch.
Can it be used in a kitchen?
Yes. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms, which covers most kitchens, dining rooms, living rooms and hallways, but not bathrooms or areas exposed to moisture.
