The frame is mild steel with a smoked glass diffuser, finished in matt black.
How it works
It takes a single 10W E27 GLS LED bulb, not included, and is not dimmable. As a Class II, double insulated lamp, it doesn't need an earth connection and simply plugs in, typically with an inline switch on the cable.
