Quintiesse Valise Medium LED Picture Light - Vintage Brass & Tuxedo Leather

The Valise Medium Picture Light in tuxedo leather brings a darker, more tailored finish to a fixture sized for mid sized artwork, its steel arm dressed in black vegan leather and trimmed with vintage brass. Like the rest of the collection, it takes its detailing from vintage luxury luggage and projects out from the wall to light a canvas or mirror without needing to run the full width of a gallery piece.

Tuxedo leather and vintage brass

Black tuxedo vegan leather wraps the arm in a smooth, matte texture, stitched along the steel frame, with vintage brass at the wall plate and framing the frosted acrylic diffuser. The dark leather against warm brass gives a crisper look than the cognac version, and reads well on darker or more contemporary walls where a subtler tan finish might get lost.

How it works

An integrated 18.5W LED module provides the light at this size, so there's no bulb to buy or change out later. It's dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer switch, this isn't a feature that comes from the fixture alone. As a Class I fitting, it needs an earthed supply and should be installed by a qualified electrician. Being wall mounted, the projection is fixed at 24.8cm with no drop to set.

Where it works best

At 50.2cm wide, this sits between the small and large versions, suited to a mid sized framed print, a mirror, or a piece of art that would look lost under the largest fitting in the range. Quintiesse positions the Valise picture lights for living rooms, dining rooms and hallways, and the black leather finish suits spaces with darker walls or more contemporary furnishings where a warmer cognac tone might feel out of place.
