Quintiesse Valise LED Wall Light - Vintage Brass & Tuxedo Leather

The Valise wall light in tuxedo leather brings a darker, more formal take on the collection's vintage luggage inspired design, its steel body wrapped in black vegan leather and finished with vintage brass. Unlike the picture lights in the range, it's built as ambient lighting rather than a fitting aimed at a specific piece of art, and sits close enough to the wall to work as a feature in its own right.

Tuxedo leather and vintage brass

Black tuxedo vegan leather wraps the body in a smooth, matte finish, stitched along the steel frame, with vintage brass forming the wall plate and framing the frosted acrylic diffuser. With a projection of just 11.4cm, it reads as a wall mounted lantern rather than an arm extending outward. The black and brass pairing suits darker hallways, either side of a bed, or flanking a fireplace where a more tailored, contemporary look is wanted.

How it works

Light comes from an integrated 18W LED module, so there's no separate bulb to source or swap out over time. It's dimmable when wired to a compatible dimmer switch, this depends on the circuit rather than being a feature of the fitting alone. This is a Class I fitting and requires an earthed supply, with installation carried out by a qualified electrician. There's no drop to adjust here, just the fixed 11.4cm projection from the wall.

Where it works best

At 50.2cm wide with a shallow 11.4cm projection, it suits tighter spaces than the picture lights in the range, a hallway, flanking a bed, or paired either side of a mirror. Quintiesse suggests living rooms, dining rooms and hallways as natural settings, and the tuxedo leather finish in particular suits darker or more contemporary interiors where a warmer cognac tone might feel out of place.
