Quintiesse Valise LED Linear Pendant - Vintage Brass & Tuxedo Leather

There's a tailored, almost bespoke quality to Valise in tuxedo leather, the fixture's long steel body wrapped in black vegan leather and framed by vintage brass ends. Inspired by the look of vintage luxury luggage, it works as a linear pendant over a dining table or kitchen island, bringing a sculptural, softly lit strip of light rather than a cluster of small pendants.

Tuxedo leather and vintage brass

Black tuxedo vegan leather covers the body in a smooth, matte texture, stitched neatly along the steel frame, while vintage brass hardware bookends the fixture and edges the frosted acrylic diffuser that softens the light along its length. The black and brass combination reads as more formal and contemporary than the cognac version, and pairs well with dark timber, black ironmongery or brushed brass elsewhere in the room.

How it works

An integrated 30W LED module provides the light, so there is no separate bulb to source or replace. It's dimmable, provided the circuit has a compatible dimmer switch fitted, dimming isn't something a swapped in bulb would add on its own here. The drop adjusts from around 31.8cm up to 131.1cm, allowing it to be hung closer to the table or raised for a higher ceiling. As a Class I fitting, it needs an earthed electrical supply and should be installed by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

Spanning 80cm, this is a fitting for a run rather than a single point, well suited to dining tables and kitchen islands where Quintiesse designed it to sit. The adjustable drop range gives some flexibility between a lower, more intimate hang over a table and a slightly higher position over an island where people need headroom while working. It's best matched to a table or island with enough length to let the fixture read as a single considered piece rather than being crowded by surrounding units.
