The Quintiesse Styx LED Wall Light in Black and Gilded Gold brings a sculptural, glamorous silhouette to any wall. Its open framework of clean angled lines is illuminated from within, throwing light through a scatter of gilded branches for a fitting that reads as much as art as it does illumination.

The frame is finished in a chic matte black, giving the angular aluminium structure a crisp, contemporary outline. Within it, a cluster of textured metal branches in gilded gold catches and reflects the light, adding warmth and a hint of glamour against the black. How it works

Styx has an integrated 4W LED tape light source built into the fitting, producing around 1588 lumens of warm white light at 3000K, so there's no separate bulb to buy or replace. As supplied, this wall light isn't compatible with dimming. It's designed for permanent wall mounting and should be wired in by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

At 61cm high with a 15cm width and a shallow 10.5cm projection from the wall, this is a fitting for hallways, landings and living spaces where you want a striking accent without the light encroaching into the room. It suits living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and kitchens alike, wherever a feature wall light is wanted rather than a purely functional one.
