Quintiesse Skye Single Pendant - Heritage Brass

Skye's single pendant distils the collection's asymmetrical, mid century character into one clear glass globe, its off centre opening held by a slender ring of Heritage Brass. Where the larger Skye pendants build a whole cluster of globes, this single light version keeps the same sculptural attitude on a smaller scale, making it easy to place above a side table, a compact breakfast bar, or as one of several hung at staggered heights along a run of cabinetry.

The Heritage Brass finish

The brass ring and cinching detail are finished in Heritage Brass, a warm, softly aged gold tone that sits comfortably against the clear glass globe. It reads well in a traditional kitchen with painted cabinetry or in a more contemporary dining space with black metal or timber accents, and it pairs naturally with other brass hardware nearby such as taps or cabinet handles.

How it works

Skye's single pendant takes 1 x E27 LED bulb, which is not supplied. It dims only if dimmable bulbs are fitted; standard bulbs will not dim, even on a dimmer circuit. The height adjusts via the Heritage Brass cinching ring, giving a generous drop range of roughly 37cm to 329.8cm, so it can sit close to the ceiling or hang low over a table. As a Class I fitting, it needs an earthed supply and should be installed by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

At 32.8cm high and 27.4cm deep, this is a fitting for a focal point rather than a whole room, think a single pendant over a side table in a dining room, above a compact kitchen breakfast bar, or grouped in twos or threes at staggered heights along an island. The wide drop adjustment range also means it suits both low and high ceilings without compromising the silhouette.
