Quintiesse Skye 1 Light Small Pendant - Heritage Brass

The smallest pendant in the Skye collection keeps the same off centre, clear glass globe and slender Heritage Brass ring as its larger siblings, scaled down into one compact light. Part of the Lisa McDennon collection for Quintiesse, it carries the same asymmetrical, mid century character in a size suited to smaller spaces, or to being repeated in a row above a kitchen island.

The Heritage Brass finish

The single glass globe is ringed with Heritage Brass, a warm gold toned finish that catches the light without dominating the room. Being smaller and easy to repeat, it lends itself to being hung in multiples spaced along an island or a run of cabinetry, where the brass detailing reads as a consistent thread even though each globe's opening sits at a slightly different angle.

How it works

This pendant takes 1 x 60W E27 bulb, not supplied. It dims only when dimmable bulbs are fitted; standard bulbs will not dim, even on a dimmer circuit. The drop is adjustable from around 30cm up to 207cm, set via the Heritage Brass cinching ring, and as a Class I fitting it needs an earthed supply with installation carried out by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

At 25cm high and 20cm deep, this is the pick for kitchen islands where several pendants are hung in a row, for a compact dining table, or anywhere the larger Skye pendants would feel too heavy handed. Its wide drop adjustment range means it can hang low over a table or sit close to the ceiling in a room with lower headroom, and the smaller scale makes it easy to fit multiples without visual clutter.
