Quintiesse Shaw 2 Light Wall Lantern - Black with Burnished Bronze accents

The Shaw 2 Light Wall Lantern is the taller, twin bulb version of Quintiesse's Shaw lantern, built to make more of a statement on a wider wall, a gatepost or either side of a substantial front door. The extra height and second light source give it more presence after dark than a single lantern would provide, while keeping the same traditional detailing that defines the range.

Black with burnished bronze accents

Finished in black with burnished bronze accents across its framework, Shaw's two tone treatment is designed to look considered rather than flat, with the bronze picking out edges and joints against the darker body. It sits well against brick, stone or timber cladding, and works alongside black or aged brass door furniture.

How it works

This larger lantern takes two E27 bulbs, each rated up to 40W (bulbs not supplied), and will dim if dimmable bulbs are fitted, so check the bulbs you choose match before wiring in. It is a Class I fitting, requiring an earthed mains supply and installation by a qualified electrician. Its IP44 rating means it is built to withstand rain and splashing, so it can be fitted in genuinely exposed spots rather than only recessed porches.

Where it works best

Standing 61cm high, 15.9cm wide with a 17.1cm projection, this is a noticeably taller fitting than the single light Shaw, so it suits wider gateposts, larger porches or facades where a smaller lantern would be lost. Given the extra size, it is worth confirming the wall surface and fixings are sound before installing, particularly on render or older brickwork. Its IP44 rating covers open driveways, garden walls and other exposed exterior positions.
