Quintiesse Sawgrass 3 Light Chandelier - Gold Leaf with Antique Glaze

The Sawgrass 3 Light Chandelier takes the same sawgrass inspired silhouette and gives it a fuller, more traditional chandelier shape, with three fronds curling up and around opal glass shades. A nice detail here is that the finials are detachable, so you can soften the look by removing them if you prefer a cleaner line.

The Gold Leaf and Antique Glaze finish

Quintiesse describes its Gold Leaf finishes as hand applied, with an Antique Glaze worked over the top to create the aged, distressed look rather than a flat gold coat. On a chandelier of this scale the variation in tone becomes part of the character of the piece, with each frond and shade catching the light slightly differently.

How it works

This chandelier takes 3 x 40W E14 bulbs (not supplied), and will dim if dimmable bulbs are fitted, though it will not dim with standard bulbs. The drop adjusts between 81.3cm and 157.5cm. It is a Class I fitting, so it needs an earthed supply and installation by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

At 66cm high and 50.8cm across, this chandelier has enough scale to work as a focal point over a dining table or in a living room with a reasonable ceiling height. The adjustable drop means it's worth checking the range against your own ceiling height and how much clearance you need, especially if there's a staircase nearby where head height needs more care.
