Quintiesse Samara Table Lamp - Salmon

The standard size Samara table lamp brings a warm salmon toned shade to a more compact frame, 71.5cm tall and 6kg, making it an easy fit for a bedside table or a smaller console where the larger version would feel like too much. It keeps the same clear textured glass base and polished nickel steel column as the rest of the range.

The salmon finish

The faux silk shade is hand made in a soft, coral leaning salmon that warms up the clear glass base beneath it, giving the lamp a gentle pop of colour that still feels grown up rather than novelty. It suits bedrooms and living spaces that lean toward warm neutrals, terracotta or blush tones.

How it works

A single E27 LED bulb, not supplied, powers the lamp, and its 4 way switch lets the shade and the glass base work as independent light sources, so you can dial in exactly the amount of light you want. Dimming only works if you fit a dimmable LED bulb. This is a Class I fitting, so it needs an earthed supply, with wiring carried out by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

At this size and weight it is a natural bedside lamp, tall enough to read by comfortably but not so heavy or wide that it dominates a nightstand. It also works well on a hallway console or a smaller side table in the living room where a warm accent colour is welcome.
