The Reno single table lamp brings a jewellery like quality to a bedside or console table, its glass body catching the light with a faceted, prismatic texture. This version pairs a soft Smoke tint in the glass with the cool sheen of Polished Nickel, a combination that reads as understated rather than showy.

The glass body is finished in a smoked tint, a warm grey tone that diffuses light gently rather than glaring, while the fittings are dressed in Polished Nickel for a crisp, contemporary edge. It is topped with a Whale grey faux silk shade lined in silver metallic fabric, which throws a soft, flattering glow up through the glass column and down onto the surface below. The mix of steel, glass and silk sits comfortably alongside monochrome or cool toned schemes, brushed metal furniture and pale or grey walls.

How it works

Reno takes a single E27 LED bulb, which is not supplied, so you can choose the exact warmth and brightness for the room. It is dimmable if you fit a dimmable bulb and use it with a compatible dimmer switch, standard bulbs will run at fixed brightness only. This is a Class I fitting, so it needs an earthed electrical supply, and any wiring should be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

At just over 60cm tall, Reno has enough presence to work as a statement bedside lamp without dominating a nightstand, and it suits living rooms, dining rooms and hallways too, wherever you want a pool of ambient light rather than a wash of overhead brightness. Try it on a console table in a hallway, beside a sofa in the living room, or as a pair either side of a bed.
