Quintiesse Rene 6 Light Drum Chandelier - Distressed Brass

Rene's drum silhouette gathers a ring of pressed glass discs into a wide, low profile shade, six lights glowing softly through the layered glass rather than blazing out directly. It's a more compact take on the Rene look, sized to sit comfortably over a table rather than dominate a whole room.

A distressed brass finish

The drum frame carries the same distressed brass finish as the rest of the Rene collection, a warm, aged tone that catches light unevenly across its surface rather than presenting one flat colour. It pairs naturally with dark timber dining tables, aged mirror, and brass or bronze hardware elsewhere in the room, and reads as more traditional glamour than sharp, modern metal.

How it works

Six E27 bulbs of up to 60W each power this fitting (bulbs are not supplied). Dimming is possible, but only when dimmable bulbs are fitted, non dimmable bulbs will not respond to a dimmer switch. It's a Class I fitting, so it needs an earthed supply and installation by a qualified electrician. The drop can be adjusted from 38.8cm up to 115cm, giving some flexibility over how low the drum shade hangs.

Where it works best

With a 74.7cm diameter, this drum chandelier is well suited to hanging centrally above a dining table or a kitchen island of a similar width, where its low profile keeps sightlines clear across the table. It also works well as a softer alternative in a living room seating area, or as a striking, glamorous fitting over a bedroom's dressing table.
