Quintiesse Palmas 2 Light Wall Light - Polished Nickel

Two ribbed glass shades sit side by side in the Palmas 2 Light Wall Light, softening whatever LED sits behind them into a gentle, even glow. It's a wall mounted companion to the Palmas pendant range, built for spaces where a ceiling fitting isn't practical or wanted.

Polished nickel and frosted white glass

Here the fitting is finished in polished nickel with frosted white ribbed glass shades, a cooler, brighter pairing that suits bathrooms and en suites finished in chrome or steel fittings. The reflective metalwork also helps the fitting read well against tiled or mirrored surfaces.

How it works

An integrated 18W LED delivers 1361 lumens of warm white 3000K light across the two shades. The light source is built into the fixture rather than supplied as a separate bulb, so there's nothing extra to fit or replace. It's dimmable when wired to a compatible LED dimmer switch, and rated Class II, meaning it's double insulated and doesn't need an earthed supply, though installation should still be carried out by a qualified electrician. This fitting also carries an IP44 rating, giving it protection against splashing water.

Where it works best

At 39cm wide, it's a practical width either side of a bathroom mirror, and its IP44 rating means it can be considered for use in bathroom zones 2 and 3, the areas outside the immediate splash zone around a bath or shower, subject to checking the zone requirements for your own layout against current UK wiring regulations. Outside the bathroom, it works just as well in a hallway, dressing room or bedroom, where the paired shades add a soft, ambient glow.
