Quintiesse Palmas 1 Light Mini Pendant - Gold

The Palmas Mini Pendant takes its shape from the soft, layered surface of a pearl, its ribbed glass sphere catching light from every angle it's viewed. This single light version has a jewellery like scale, small enough to hang in a cluster of three or five, or to stand alone as a quiet accent above a worktop or beside a bed.

Brushed gold and smoked glass

This version pairs a warm brushed gold frame with a smoked glass shade, so the ribbing reads as a subtle shadow play rather than a bright highlight. The tone sits comfortably against brass, walnut and darker painted schemes, and works equally well as a single fitting or repeated along a run of sockets.

How it works

The pendant carries an integrated 12W LED rated at 791 lumens in a warm white 3000K colour temperature, plus a small 1W downlight built into the finial that throws a focused pool of light directly beneath the fitting. Because the light source is built in rather than a separate bulb, there is nothing to buy or fit separately, and no bulb to replace over its life. It's dimmable, provided it's wired to a compatible LED dimmer switch. The fitting is rated Class II (double insulated), so it does not need an earthed supply, though we'd still always recommend having any new pendant wired in by a qualified electrician. The drop is adjustable from 32cm up to 272.2cm, which gives plenty of scope to set the hang height at first fix.

Where it works best

Its compact 25cm height and 15.2cm depth make it a natural choice for spaces where a larger pendant would feel heavy, bedside lighting, above a run of kitchen units, or grouped over an island. The generous drop range also means it can be set high in a hallway or stairwell and still leave room to adjust later.
