Quintiesse Palais Small LED Wall Light - Polished Nickel

A curved steel frame holds a ribbed glass shade that catches and softens the light, so even in a narrow space it reads as a considered design feature rather than an afterthought. The polished nickel finish

Finished in polished nickel over its steel frame, this version has a bright, cool, reflective surface that works well against white or pale grey walls, chrome door furniture and glass. It is a good match for mirror frames and other cool toned metalwork, and generally suits contemporary or transitional schemes over anything with a warmer, more antique feel.

How it works

An integrated 7W LED light source is built into the fitting, so there is no separate bulb to fit or replace down the line. It is dimmable, as long as it is paired with a dimmer switch designed for LED fittings, so you can bring the light down low for a landing or bedside without switching it off entirely. It is a Class I fitting, meaning it needs an earthed mains supply and should be wired in by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

At just 14.2cm high and with a 9.5cm projection, this is the smaller of the two Palais sizes, making it a practical choice for tighter spaces such as either side of a bedroom or hallway mirror, along a corridor where a larger fitting would feel oversized, or spaced evenly up a staircase. Its compact footprint also makes it easy to install in multiples without the wall feeling crowded, and it works equally well as gentle background lighting in a bedroom or dining room where you don't want a strong, direct source.
