Quintiesse Nottingham 1 Light Ceiling Flush Medium - Antique Brass

The Nottingham Medium Flush Light brings the same amber glass and antique brass detailing as the rest of the collection into a compact, close fitting ceiling light. Rather than hanging down into the room, it sits flush against the ceiling, making it a practical option wherever headroom is limited.

The antique brass finish

An antique brass band frames the amber tinted glass globe, giving the fitting a warm, slightly vintage character. The finish is designed to look good both switched off, as a piece of hardware in its own right, and switched on, when the tint gives the light a soft golden cast.

How it works

It takes a single E27 bulb, which is not supplied, so you can select the exact warmth and brightness you want. The fitting is suitable for dimmable bulbs, though dimming only works if a dimmable bulb is actually fitted. As a flush mount, there is no drop to adjust, it simply sits close to the ceiling once wired in. It is a Class I fitting, so it needs an earthed supply and should be installed by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

At 34.8cm across, it suits medium sized rooms such as bedrooms, landings and hallways where a pendant would hang too low or feel too heavy for the space. Weighing 11.9kg, it is worth confirming your ceiling has a secure, load rated fixing point before installation.
