Quintiesse Morris Single Large IP44 Wall Lantern - Distressed Copper

The largest of the Morris wall lanterns, this fitting stretches to 38.6cm in height, giving it real presence on a substantial porch, an entrance flanked by pillars, or either side of a garage or driveway gate. It carries the same trailing Southwest Mission design as the rest of the collection, just at a scale built to hold its own on a bigger facade.

Distressed copper finish

The aluminium body is finished in distressed copper, giving genuine depth and tonal variation, while an inside panel of etched, iridised seeded glass gives the light a softened, textured quality rather than a flat glow. On a larger fitting like this, that texture is even more visible up close.

How it works

A single E27 bulb (not supplied) provides the light, and it will only dim if a dimmable bulb is fitted. This is a Class I fitting, so it needs an earthed supply and should be installed by a qualified electrician. Its IP44 rating means it can be used in an exposed but sheltered exterior spot, coping with rain and damp rather than direct submersion.

Where it works best

With a 22.5cm projection and a taller 38.6cm frame, this lantern suits grander entrances, wide porches and gateways where a smaller lantern would look lost. It's a good option either side of double doors or a garage, where scale and symmetry matter.
