Quintiesse Marilyn Single Pendant - Polished Nickel

The Marilyn single pendant is the smallest ceiling fitting in Quintiesse's Marilyn collection, pairing a clear seeded glass globe with a slim polished nickel and matte black frame. It's designed to work as a single statement point of light, or in a cluster of two or three above a table.

Polished nickel and matte black

Polished nickel gives the frame its bright, reflective surface, while matte black detailing at the canopy and fitting points grounds the look. Clear seeded glass diffuses the light source gently rather than concealing it entirely, so the fitting has presence even before it's switched on. The mix of shiny metal and textured glass sits comfortably with both classic and contemporary kitchen and dining schemes.

How it works

It takes a single E27 bulb, not supplied, and works with a dimmer switch only if dimmable bulbs are fitted. The drop is adjustable between 61cm and 151.3cm, so check this range against your ceiling height and how low you want the shade to hang before ordering. Wiring is to Class I standard, meaning it needs an earthed supply and should be installed by a qualified electrician.

At 4kg it's light enough to hang from most standard ceiling roses, and grouping several side by side over a long table is a straightforward way to build a run of light without moving to a multi arm chandelier.
