Quintiesse Marilyn 6 Light Chandelier - Polished Nickel

The Marilyn 6 light chandelier is the largest fitting in the collection, a substantial multi arm design that spreads six clear seeded glass globes across a wide polished nickel and matte black frame. It's built to anchor a large room rather than sit quietly in the background.

Polished nickel runs across the main frame and arms, offset by matte black at the joints and fittings, the same contrast that defines the rest of the Marilyn range but at a larger scale here. Six clear seeded glass shades are set at varying heights across the frame, giving the fitting real depth when viewed from below or from a staircase looking down on it.

How it works

Six arms each take an E27 bulb, none supplied, so six bulbs are needed in total. Choose dimmable bulbs if you want to use the fitting with a dimmer, since dimming only works with dimmable bulbs fitted. The drop adjusts from 76.8cm to 167.1cm, which is worth checking carefully against your ceiling height, especially if you're hanging it above a stairwell or in a room with restricted headroom. It's Class I wired, so it needs an earthed supply and should be installed by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

This is a fitting for a large living room, open plan dining space, grand hallway or stairwell, somewhere with the height and floor space to let its 87.6cm width and generous drop range work properly. At 17kg it's a genuinely heavy fitting, so before installation confirm that your ceiling or wall has a secure, load rated fixing point able to support that weight.
