Quintiesse Maddox 1 Light Medium Outdoor Pendant - Black & Camel

Maddox's medium pendant also comes in a two tone weave, pairing black and camel nylon rope around the same geometric orb frame. It is a warmer take on the design, with the tonal contrast in the rope giving the open weave more depth and texture than a single colour finish, while the etched opal glass globe inside still delivers a soft, even glow once lit.

The frame is aluminium finished in black, wrapped in an open weave of black and camel weather resistant nylon rope, with the etched opal glass globe set inside to diffuse the light. The mix of tones gives it a more layered, textural look than a single colour pendant, and pairs naturally with timber cladding, rattan furniture, or other natural materials used outdoors.

How it works

This medium Maddox takes a single 60W E27 bulb, not supplied. It can be dimmed, but only if dimmable bulbs are fitted, standard bulbs will not dim on their own. Drop is adjustable between 75.6cm and 151.6cm, letting you set the hanging height to suit the space. As a Class I fitting it needs an earthed supply and should be installed by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

At 67.3cm high with a 61cm depth, this is the larger of the two Maddox sizes, well suited to porches, pergolas, and covered terraces where there is enough headroom for the pendant to hang freely. Check the 75.6cm to 151.6cm drop range against your beam or ceiling height before ordering. Rated IP44, it is designed to handle the damp and temperature changes typical of covered outdoor settings.
