The Loras Single Mini Pendant is the smallest fitting in the collection, a single clear seeded glass shade on a black fabric cord dropping from a compact steel ceiling cup finished in polished chrome. Its small footprint makes it a natural choice for grouping several together above a kitchen island or breakfast bar, or using singly above a small table.
The chrome finish
The polished chrome ceiling cup is understated next to the glass shade, which carries the collection's characteristic seeded texture and small internal bubbles. Because the fitting is so compact, the glass does most of the visual work, and the chrome simply provides a neat, contemporary finish at the ceiling. It suits modern kitchens with chrome or steel fittings, as well as pale, minimal interiors where a small, uncluttered light is preferred.
How it works
It takes 1 x E27 LED bulb, not supplied, and is dimmable if you fit a dimmable bulb with a compatible dimmer switch. The drop is exceptionally adjustable, from 34cm right up to 479.2cm, which makes this pendant a practical option for tall stairwells and atriums as well as standard ceiling heights. As a Class I fitting, it needs an earthed electrical supply and should be installed by a qualified electrician.

Quintiesse lists this pendant for kitchens and dining rooms, and at just 14.6cm across and 1.9kg, it's light and small enough to hang in multiples along a kitchen island or in a stepped cluster above a staircase. The unusually long maximum drop of 479.2cm is particularly useful if you're lighting a stairwell or a room with a high or vaulted ceiling, so it's worth checking that range against your own ceiling height before you order.
