Quintiesse Lahden Single Small Wall Lantern - Weathered Zinc

The Lahden Single Small Wall Lantern carries the same carriage inspired chain link detailing as the rest of the collection, but scaled down and fixed to the wall rather than hung. It is the fitting to reach for when you want that lantern character at a doorway or gatepost without something large projecting off the wall.

Weathered zinc finish and seeded glass

Its aluminium body is finished in weathered zinc, a grey, slightly industrial finish that Quintiesse gives an aged, hand finished look rather than a flat factory sheen. The clear seeded glass panel adds a soft texture to the light, and its compact scale means the finish and glass detail read up close, which suits a fitting mounted at eye level either side of a front door.

How it works

This lantern takes 1 x E27 LED bulb, not supplied, and is fixed to the wall on a set bracket rather than an adjustable drop. It will dim if dimmable bulbs are fitted, though not otherwise. It is a Class I fitting, so it needs an earthed supply and should be installed by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

At 31.6cm high, 12.7cm wide and projecting 14.3cm from the wall, this is the smallest lantern in the Lahden range, well suited to narrower porches, either side of a front door, along a boundary wall or beside a gate where a larger fitting would feel out of scale. Its IP44 rating means it is built for sheltered exterior spots such as covered porches rather than fully exposed walls.
