Quintiesse Karlee 9 Light Chandelier - Classic Pewter

As the largest piece in the Karlee collection, this nine light chandelier is built to fill a room with presence. Tiers of an antique style steel frame carry rows of faceted crystal droplets that catch and throw light in every direction, giving a traditional silhouette a cleaner, less fussy finish than a classic ballroom chandelier.

Classic Pewter finish

The frame is finished in Classic Pewter, a soft grey with a gently aged warmth rather than a hard, cold metallic tone. Against the sparkle of the crystal droplets it reads as elegant rather than showy, and it sits comfortably alongside dark wood furniture, aged brass fittings or plain painted walls without competing with them.

How it works

Nine E14 bulbs are needed to light it fully (LED recommended, bulbs not included). The frame measures 87cm high and 86.4cm in depth, with a drop that adjusts from 99.7cm up to 191.2cm so it can be hung to suit anything from a standard ceiling to a much taller void. Fit dimmable bulbs and it will dim, though standard bulbs will not. It is a Class I fitting, which means it must be wired to an earthed supply and fitted by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

The long drop range makes this the fitting to reach for over a stairwell or a galleried landing, where a shorter chandelier would look lost. It also suits a large dining room or living room with a high ceiling, where its scale can act as the room's focal point rather than being crowded out by it. At 11kg it is a heavy fitting, so have your ceiling checked for a secure, load rated fixing point before it goes up.
