The Inizio Linear Pendant Small takes the same interlocking, edge lit design as its larger sibling and scales it down for more modest dining spots, single islands, or spaces above a breakfast bar. Its illuminated panels create a layered pattern of light and shadow that shifts as you move around it.
Matte black finish
Finished in matte black over an aluminium and steel frame, with white acrylic diffusers running the LED along each panel edge, it has a graphic, almost origami like quality when off and a warm architectural glow when lit. The dark finish suits contemporary kitchens and dining rooms, especially against lighter worktops or walls.
How it works
The light comes from an integrated LED engine rather than replaceable bulbs, rated at 46W and producing 2086 lumens of warm white 3000K light, with an estimated 20,000 hour lifespan. It is dimmable, provided it is connected to a dimmer switch suited to LED fittings. Electrically it is Class II (double insulated), and the drop is adjustable from 47.5cm to 187.7cm.
Where it works best
At 84cm wide, this smaller size suits compact kitchen islands, breakfast tables, and bedrooms or hallways where the larger medium version would be too dominant. It weighs 10kg, so check that your ceiling fixing point is secure and rated to take the load, and measure the adjustable drop against your ceiling height, especially if the room has a lower ceiling.
