Quintiesse Heath Single Medium Wall Lantern - Mottled Black

In mottled black, Heath's hexagonal outline turns noticeably more graphic, the facets of the domed roof and glass cage catching the light in sharper contrast than on the bronze version. It's still built the same way underneath, a two piece aluminium, brass and steel frame with a curved wall arm and a clear seeded glass panel, and this medium size gives it enough presence for a proper front door or entrance.

The mottled black finish

The mottled black finish is applied unevenly across the metal rather than as one flat coat, so the lantern's facets pick up subtle variation in tone as you move around it. It works particularly well against white or pale render, exposed brick or dark cladding, and pairs naturally with black door furniture, house numbers and guttering.

Standing 48cm high, 33.1cm wide and projecting 15.2cm from the wall, this medium Heath suits wide front doors, porch entrances or a pair of gateposts where a smaller fitting would look lost. The genuine IP44 rating means it's equally at home on a driveway wall or boundary pillar with real exposure to the weather, not only a sheltered doorway.
