Havering is a table lamp that isn't afraid of colour. Where most bedside and console lamps stick to neutral bases, this one is thrown in ceramic and glazed in a striking azure turquoise, then trimmed in aged brass so the whole piece reads as a genuine decorative object rather than just a light source.

The ceramic base carries a deep, glassy azure turquoise glaze that shifts between blue and green depending on the light, sitting alongside aged brass banding and fittings that warm up the cooler tone. A faux silk shade on a steel frame sits on top, softening the glow and keeping the silhouette tidy. It's a lamp that works as a colour anchor on a pale console or nightstand, or as a complement to warm timber and existing brass hardware elsewhere in the room.

How it works

Havering runs on a single E27 bulb, which is not included. It's dimmable, but only when fitted with dimmable bulbs, a standard bulb won't respond to a dimmer even if one is wired in. As a Class I fitting it needs an earthed mains supply and should be connected by a qualified electrician. The lamp, its ceramic base, brass detailing, shade and cable, comes complete; only the bulb is left for you to add.

Standing 73.5cm tall with a 41cm depth, Havering has the height and colour to hold its own as a bedside lamp, on a hallway console, or as a lift of colour in a living room or dining room that's otherwise kept fairly neutral.
