Quintiesse Flora 3 Light Wall Light - Textured Plaster

Flora carries its sculptural, botanical design onto the wall in this three light fitting, where each bulb rests inside a hand painted floral form that opens outward rather than hanging down. It's the wall mounted version of the same piece that appears as a pendant and a chandelier elsewhere in the range, built for spots where a fixture needs to sit flush against a wall rather than drop from a ceiling.

The textured plaster finish

Rather than a metallic sheen, this Flora is finished in a matte textured plaster, worked to a soft, chalky surface with no shine to catch. Against limewashed or painted walls, linen upholstery and pale oak, it reads as considered and quiet, letting the shape of the blooms do the work rather than a reflective finish.

How it works

It takes 3 x 40W E14 bulbs, which are not supplied, and will only dim if dimmable bulbs are fitted. As a Class I fitting it needs an earthed electrical supply and should be installed by a qualified electrician. Unlike the pendant versions of Flora, this is a fixed wall light rather than an adjustable one, standing 43.8cm high and projecting 17.8cm out from the wall.

Where it works best

Its flat, wall hugging profile makes it useful in hallways, on staircases and landings, or anywhere a pendant would eat into headroom or walkway space. It also works well flanking a bed, a mirror or a fireplace in a bedroom, living room, dining room or kitchen, where a pair either side gives a more considered look than a single central light.
