Quintiesse Flora 3 Light Wall Light - Burnished Gold

Flora brings its sculptural floral language to a wall light, three bulbs sitting inside hand painted blooms that sit flush against the wall rather than hanging from the ceiling. It is a good way to bring the same botanical detail into a room without needing a pendant drop.

The burnished gold finish

This piece is finished in a warm burnished gold, an antique warmth rather than a hard shine, which reads well beside brass switch plates, gilt mirrors and warm timber panelling. Mounted close to the wall, the finish catches ambient light rather than throwing a strong glow, making it a quieter, more decorative fitting.

How it works

It takes 3 x 40W E14 bulbs, not supplied, and only dims if dimmable bulbs are fitted. It is a Class I fitting, so it needs an earthed supply and installation by a qualified electrician. As a wall light it has a fixed projection rather than an adjustable drop, standing 43.8cm high and projecting 17.8cm from the wall.

Where it works best

Its fixed, wall hugging profile suits hallways, staircases and landings where a pendant would be impractical, as well as flanking a bed, mirror or fireplace in a dining room, kitchen, bedroom or living room. Because it sits close to the wall, it is a useful way to add decorative light without reducing headroom in a tighter space.
