Quintiesse Fletcher 2 Light Pendant - Aged Zinc with Heritage Brass

Fletcher is a dome pendant built around a seamless cast fitter, with a fine capture ring holding a panel of etched opal glass in place using decorative cast knobs. It has a tailored, understated presence rather than a showy one, which is what makes it easy to place above a run of kitchen worktop or a dining table without it fighting for attention. This two light version gives a compact, well balanced spread of light suited to smaller tables and narrower kitchen islands.

Aged zinc with heritage brass

The dome shade is finished in aged zinc, a muted, softly weathered grey tone, while the capture ring and cast knobs are done in heritage brass for a warm point of contrast. The etched opal glass sits between the two, diffusing the light rather than exposing the bulbs directly. It's a finish that sits comfortably with dark cabinetry, reclaimed wood, black ironmongery or existing aged brass hardware, and it reads as considered rather than matched too neatly.

How it works

Fletcher takes 2 x E27 LED bulbs, which are not supplied. The drop is adjustable, so the fitting can be set higher or lower to suit your ceiling and how much clearance you want over a table or worktop. It will dim, but only if dimmable bulbs are fitted. This is a Class I fitting, which means it needs an earthed supply and should be installed by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

With a height of 36.6cm and a depth of 33.9cm, this is a good fit for kitchens and dining rooms where you want a single pendant, or a tighter run of two or three, over an island or a smaller table. The adjustable drop runs from 65.2cm to 126.2cm, so it's worth checking that range against your ceiling height and how much clearance you need before you order, particularly if your ceilings are on the lower side.
