This medium sized Fairfield wall lantern brings a softer, aged character to an outdoor entrance. Its Olde Bronze finish and clear seeded glass give the fitting warmth and texture that suits stone and brick fronted homes as much as more contemporary properties.

Quintiesse describes its Olde Bronze finish as drawing on hand applied patina techniques, giving the aluminium frame a warm, aged tone with subtle variation rather than a flat, uniform colour. Paired with clear seeded glass, the fitting has a softer, more traditional feel that suits stone cottages, red brick facades and period front doors, while still working on more contemporary elevations that want a touch of warmth.

How it works

Fairfield takes 1 x E27 bulb, not included, and dims only when paired with a dimmable bulb, non dimmable bulbs will simply switch on and off at one brightness. As a wall mounted lantern with a fixed backplate, there is no adjustable drop or arm, so its height and position on the wall are set at installation. The fitting arrives ready to wire in, the bulb needs to be bought separately.

Where it works best

This medium lantern's compact 27.9cm height makes it well suited to cottage porches, narrower door surrounds, and side or back entrances, where the Olde Bronze finish can pick out warm brick or stone tones. Rated IP44, it is designed to be mounted outdoors and cope with typical weather when positioned on an exterior wall.
