Quintiesse Diamond Pendant Light - Teak Veneer

The Diamond Pendant takes its name from the faceted profile of its shade, a conical form cut with angular planes that catch the light differently from every angle. Made from natural teak wood veneer, it brings a warm, sculptural presence to a room without shouting for attention, equally at home in a mid century scheme, a retro inspired kitchen, or a more contemporary interior looking for a natural material accent.

The shade is built from a natural teak wood veneer, so the grain and colouring vary slightly from fitting to fitting in the way real wood always does. The faceted, diamond cut surface plays with light and shadow across the veneer's texture, giving the pendant more depth than a plain drum or cone shade. It pairs naturally with oak and walnut furniture, brass or matte black hardware, and other natural materials such as rattan or linen.

How it works

The Diamond Pendant takes a single E27 lamp (bulb not supplied), so you can choose the tone and brightness that suits the room. It is compatible with dimmable smart lamps, so dimming is available if you fit a dimmable bulb of this type; a non dimmable bulb will simply run at full brightness. The fitting is rated Class II, meaning it is double insulated and does not require a separate earth connection, though it should still be installed by a competent person following standard wiring practice. It comes supplied with its own mains cable, and the drop is adjustable from roughly 53.9cm to 313.9cm, so you can set the finished hanging height on site.

Where it works best

With a shade diameter of around 34.5cm, the Diamond Pendant suits single pendant use over a dining table, kitchen table, or console rather than close, multi drop runs. Because the drop adjusts across a wide range, it is a good option for rooms with higher ceilings or for stairwells and landings where you need flexibility to set the right clearance. Beyond dining spaces, it also works well as a warm focal point in a living room, hallway, or bedroom, anywhere a natural material silhouette against a plain ceiling would add character.
