Quintiesse Chance Harbor Single Pedestal Lantern - Weathered Zinc

Rather than mounting to a wall, this Chance Harbor lantern sits on top of a post, pier or pedestal, making it the natural choice for marking a driveway entrance, gate pier or garden boundary. It shares the collection's historic, coastal inspired styling, built around clear ribbed glass panels within a weathered aluminium frame.

Weathered Zinc finish

The Weathered Zinc finish gives the aluminium body a soft, mottled patina that looks settled into its surroundings from day one, rather than sharp and new. Because this fitting stands proud on a post rather than sitting flat against a surface, the finish and the ribbed glass are visible from every angle, so it rewards a spot where it can be seen in the round.

How it works

It's designed to take a single E27 LED bulb, sold separately, so you can pick the colour temperature that suits the setting. Dimming is possible if you fit dimmable bulbs, though a standard LED will run at a fixed brightness. As a Class I fitting it needs an earthed electrical supply and should be installed by a qualified electrician, along with a suitable post or pier base.

Where it works best

Standing 55.4cm high with a 22.1cm depth, this pedestal lantern is built for driveways, pathways, gateposts and low garden walls where a standalone marker light is more useful than a wall mounted one. At 3.4kg it's manageable to fit to most post tops, and its IP44 rating means it's designed to cope with rain, wind and general outdoor exposure.

Quintiesse craftsmanship
