Quintiesse Chance 3 Light Pendant - Blackened Brass

The Chance 3 Light Pendant takes the same rounded, rivet trimmed cast frame as the rest of the Chance collection and hangs it from an adjustable suspension, giving it a bolder, more sculptural presence than the semi flush versions. An etched opal glass diffuser wraps the light source, so it casts a soft, even glow across a table or hallway rather than a hard downward beam.

Blackened Brass finish

The steel frame here is finished in blackened brass, a deep, near black tone with a hint of brass warmth still showing through, which gives the pendant a more graphic, contemporary edge than a traditional gold brass would. It works well hung against dark ceilings, exposed beams or black window frames, and suits interiors leaning towards a more industrial or moody palette.

How it works

Three E27 bulbs are needed (not supplied), and the pendant will dim smoothly if dimmable bulbs are used, though it won't dim with standard ones. The drop is adjustable from 77.3cm to 229.7cm, so it's worth checking that range against your ceiling height and how much clearance you want above a table or floor before ordering, it's a wide enough range to suit both standard rooms and taller spaces like stairwells. It's a Class I fitting, so it needs an earthed supply and should be installed by a qualified electrician. The pendant, cable, frame and glass diffuser are supplied; bulbs are not.

Where it works best

With a 67.3cm wide frame and that generous drop range, this pendant has enough scale to work as a genuine focal point over a dining table or in a double height hallway or stairwell, where the adjustable drop lets you bring the fitting down to a sensible height even from a high ceiling.
