Quintiesse Caesar Large LED Wall Light - Vintage Brass

Caesar's diamond faceted alabaster shade and slender steel stem give it the look of a piece of jewellery mounted on the wall, a design that trades the soft glow of a typical wall light for something more sculptural. The large size, standing 63.5cm tall, is built to be noticed rather than blended in.

Vintage Brass finish

Here the steel frame is finished in Vintage Brass, an aged, slightly antiqued tone rather than a polished, mirror bright brass. It reads warmer and softer against the alabaster shade, which is a natural stone and so brings its own individual veining and colour variation to every piece, no two are ever quite alike. Vintage Brass suits traditional and transitional schemes, think panelled walls, dark upholstery or a classic dining room.

How it works

Caesar Large runs on a single integrated 23W LED module, which means there's no bulb to source or swap out down the line. Fit it to a compatible LED dimmer switch and it dims smoothly; without one, it will simply run at full brightness. As a Class I fitting it needs an earthed supply and should be wired in by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

Quintiesse lists Caesar as suited to living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and hallways. Given its height and narrow 7.6cm width, it works especially well in pairs, either side of a dining room mirror or overmantel, or spaced along a hallway wall where a pendant would be impractical. With a projection of just 6.1cm, it also stays clear of doorways and tight landings.
