The Caesar wall light takes its cue from the bold, faceted geometry of cut crystal, its diamond shaped alabaster shade sitting on a slender steel frame like a piece of jewellery mounted on the wall. Urban Bronze finish

The steel frame is finished in Urban Bronze, a warm, deep toned metal that gives the structure a weighted, grounded presence against the pale alabaster shade above it. Alabaster is a natural stone, so every shade carries its own pattern of veining and tonal shift, meaning no two Caesar lights will read quite identically. That variation is part of the material's character rather than an inconsistency. The bronze tone sits comfortably alongside darker woods, aged leather and warm neutral walls.

How it works

Caesar Large is fitted with an integrated 23W LED light source, so there's no separate bulb to buy or change over time. It's dimmable, provided it's connected to a compatible LED dimmer switch. This is a Class I fitting, which means it must be connected to an earthed electrical supply and installed by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

At 63.5cm tall but only 7.6cm wide and 6.1cm in projection, this is a slim, vertical light that suits spots where floor or table space isn't an option, either side of a hallway mirror, flanking a bed, on a landing, or lighting the turn of a staircase. Quintiesse lists Caesar as suited to living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and hallways, and its narrow profile works particularly well as a pair either side of a fireplace or console table.
