This chain hung version of the Booker lantern is designed to drop from a porch or canopy ceiling rather than fix to a wall, giving it a slightly more traditional, swinging lantern feel as you approach a front door. The same seeded glass and curved detailing carry across from the rest of the range, but here suspended on a chain rather than a bracket.
The aluminium finish
Aluminium and steel form the frame, finished in silver tones, with clear seeded glass that diffuses the light rather than letting it shine straight through. The look sits comfortably alongside brick porches, timber canopies or painted overhangs, and matches the wall and pedestal lanterns in the Booker family if you want continuity across a property.
How it works
It takes a single E27 LED bulb, not supplied, and is dimmable if dimmable bulbs are fitted. The chain allows the drop to be adjusted between 38.4cm and 149.3cm, so check that range against your ceiling height and how much clearance you want above head height before ordering, particularly under a lower porch roof.

At 28.3cm high and 16.2cm deep with that adjustable 38.4cm to 149.3cm drop, this suits porches, covered entrances and canopied doorways where a hanging lantern can be set at just the right height. Its IP44 rating means it is built to withstand rain and damp conditions typical of a covered but exposed outdoor space.
