Quintiesse Alford Place 2 Light Medium Wall Lantern - Museum Black

Sitting between the compact and large versions in the Alford Place range, this 2 light medium wall lantern is a versatile size for porches and entrances that need more than a small accent light but don't have room for the largest fitting. The familiar die cast frame, hanging arm and top loop sit above a sealed glass roof that lights the area around it rather than casting a single beam.

Museum Black finish

Finished in Museum Black over a cast aluminium body, it has a matte, slightly worn character that suits period and modern facades alike. It's a finish that ages well outdoors and doesn't show marks or fingerprints the way a polished metal would, making it a practical choice for a front door that gets used daily.

How it works

The lantern takes 2 x E14 bulbs, not supplied, and dims only if dimmable bulbs are fitted. It's rated Class I, so it needs an earthed electrical supply and should be wired in by a qualified electrician, and its IP44 rating means it's built to cope with rain and outdoor damp.

Where it works best

At 45.9cm high and projecting 28.6cm from the wall, it works well either side of a front door, on a porch wall, or flanking a garage or side entrance, giving enough spread of light for a doorstep or path without overwhelming a modest sized wall.
