A Square Line for Contemporary Ceilings
Riva takes Orluna's concealed downlight thinking and gives it a square opening, an all white frame designed to sit quietly within a modern ceiling rather than announce itself as a fitting. The Adjustable version lets the beam be aimed after installation, without disturbing that clean square line.
Choosing Your Configuration
Driver options cover 0 to 10V dimming, Dali, mains dimming or non dimming. Colour temperature can be fixed at 2700K or 3000K, or specified via the Origin Warm Dim engine across the full 1800K to 3000K range. Beam angle runs from a tight 17° spot to a 53° flood across fourteen increments, giving real choice over how tightly or broadly the square opening throws its light.
Four engines are available: Origin for general use, Origin Natural for the highest colour accuracy, Origin Warm Dim for that low level warming effect, and Origin loPro for shallower ceiling voids. The fitting comes as standard with a white RAL 9010 bezel and black baffle, and can be specified in IP54 or IP65.
How It Works
Riva's recessed baffle sits the light source back within the square housing, cutting glare from typical viewing angles while the engine itself tilts to aim the beam. The white bezel finish is designed to read as part of the ceiling rather than as a separate fitting, and, as with the rest of Orluna's range, a machined aluminium body manages heat from the LED engine to protect long term colour consistency.
Where It Works Best
With an 80mm bezel and a 70mm x 70mm square cut out, the Riva Adjustable suits contemporary interiors built on a grid, kitchens, bathrooms and living spaces where a square opening reads more deliberately than a round one. Compared with the Twin Adjustable Square, which doubles up for two point lighting, the single Adjustable is the right scale for one considered beam, over an island, a reading chair or a piece of furniture that needs its own light.
Made By Orluna
Orluna remains British design and manufacturing led today, with production still rooted in the UK even as its fittings are specified on projects internationally. That continuity, precision engineering paired with long term product support, sits behind fittings like Riva just as much as it does the company's earliest architectural ranges.

Questions People Ask
How is Riva different from the One range?
Riva uses a square opening and an all white frame, while One is a round concealed downlight. Both share Orluna's approach to concealed, glare controlled lighting.
Can the beam be redirected after installation?
Yes, the Adjustable version tilts within its housing so the beam can be aimed once fitted.
What is the smallest beam angle available?
17°, at the narrow end of a fourteen step range up to 53°.
