The One Mini Adjustable is the smallest member of Orluna's One collection, a fully adjustable downlight engineered to vanish into the ceiling while still delivering a genuinely useful 300lm of light. Formerly known as the Cell, it is built for spaces where the fitting itself should never be the focal point, only the light it produces.

Choosing Your Configuration

This fitting is offered with four driver protocols: 0 to 10V dimming, Dali, mains dimming or non dimming. One point worth noting before you specify: the 0 to 10V driver does not fit through this fitting's compact cut out, so if a tight void is a factor, Dali or mains dimming may suit better.

Colour temperature is a straightforward choice between 2700K, for a warmer and more traditional feel, and 3000K, a slightly crisper white that Orluna recommends as its default. Beam angle runs from a tight 18° spot through to a 35° flood, across six increments, so the same fitting can be specified as an accent light or a gentler wash depending on beam selection.

Two LED engines are available: Origin, for general use, and Origin Natural, Orluna's highest quality option, tuned for the most accurate colour rendering where finishes, artwork or skin tones matter. This fitting is supplied with a white bezel in RAL 9010 and a black baffle as standard, and can be specified in IP54 or IP65 for use in bathrooms or other wet areas.

How It Works

The One Mini uses a concealed adjustable mechanism that tilts within the housing itself, so nothing protrudes below the ceiling line and there is no visible gap into the void above. Behind the small bezel sits a machined aluminium body that draws heat away from the LED engine, protecting colour consistency and helping the fitting maintain its output over a long service life.

Where It Works Best

At just 51mm across the bezel with a 46mm cut out, the Mini Adjustable is the most discreet way to bring aimable, directional light into a space where ceiling depth or visual impact is limited. Compared with its Mini Fixed sibling, which locks the beam in a fixed direction, the Adjustable version lets you fine tune the aim after installation, making it well suited to stairs, joinery, display niches and any residential setting where the light needs to move with the furniture or artwork around it.

Orluna was founded in 1973 by a group of aeronautical engineers, who first applied LED technology to civil and military applications at a time when the same technology was almost unheard of in architectural lighting. What is the difference between the One Mini Adjustable and the One Mini Fixed?
The Adjustable version tilts within its housing so the beam can be aimed after installation. The Fixed version has no moving mechanism and points straight down.
