Some ceilings work best when the lighting simply is not there to look at, just a clean circle of light with no visible ring, frame or trim. Cloud Mini Trimless Recessed is Orluna's smallest fully recessed fitting, designed to disappear into the plaster and leave only the light itself on show.

Choosing your configuration

This smaller Cloud fitting is built around a slightly more focused set of options than its larger siblings. The driver can be specified as 0 to 10V Dimming, Dali, Mains Dimming or Non-Dimming, so choose whichever matches the control system already in the building. Two LED engines are offered here: Origin (General Use) for general lighting duties, and Origin Natural (Highest Quality) where colour rendering needs to be as accurate as possible, useful over artwork, natural materials or anywhere skin tones and finishes need to look true. Colour temperature is a straightforward choice between 2700K for a warmer glow and 3000K for a slightly crisper white. Beam angle ranges from a tight 22° spot up to a 49° flood, so a narrow option suits precise accent work while the wider angles give softer, more general illumination from this small aperture. IP54 is the rating for this fitting. Bezel and baffle are both available in Black or White (RAL 9010) to disappear against a dark or light ceiling.

How It Works

Cloud Mini Trimless Recessed sits above the ceiling line in a compact 43mm diameter housing, fitted through a 55mm cut out. Because it is trimless, there is no visible bezel or trim ring once installed, the aperture is finished flush with the surrounding plaster so the fitting genuinely appears to hover, with nothing but a clean circle of light showing. A gimbal mechanism inside gives 360° rotation and 90° tilt, so the beam can still be aimed precisely after the ceiling is finished. As with the rest of the Cloud range, an aluminium housing manages heat from the LED engine to protect long term output and colour stability.

This is the smallest and most discreet recessed option in the Cloud family, so it is the natural choice wherever the brief calls for genuinely invisible lighting within a tight ceiling depth: boutique retail displays, hallways, cloakrooms and feature walls in residential schemes all suit it well. Because it is trimless rather than using visible butterfly clips like Cloud Mini Butterfly Recessed, it gives the cleanest possible finish where the ceiling detail really matters. If more light output or a larger aperture is acceptable, Cloud Trimless Recessed offers the same flush look at a larger 60mm scale.
